Break the Cycle.

Experiential therapy & intensives for the high-functioning overthinkers and self-starters who are ready to experience freedom from the noise.

IN PERSON IN RENO | VIRTUAL ACROSS NEVADA & TENNESSEE

You get things done. People count on you. And yet...

  • Your inner critic is relentless. You second-guess yourself, replay conversations, and perpetually wonder if you’re disappointing others.

  • Your mind runs through every "what if," and even when you finally sit down to rest, it doesn't.

  • You spend a lot of time thinking about what other people need, want, or think of you. You have a hard time knowing what you actually want.

  • You have an endless supply of compassion toward everyone, except yourself.

  • Life looks good on paper, but you've never quite felt allowed to live it on your own terms.

  • You've done the work: the books, the podcasts, the journaling, maybe years of therapy. But some patterns just won't budge.

Top specialties

I work with people who've done all the “right” work and still find themselves bracing for the next thing to go wrong, second-guessing every decision, and holding it together for everyone but themselves.

Real change happens when you feel something differently, not just think about it differently.

Talk therapy can help you understand why you are the way you are, which can be a great source of insight. But insight alone isn’t enough to produce meaningful change… There’s a reason our attempts to think our way out of problems often fail us, and it’s not because you just aren't trying hard enough.

So in our work, you won't just talk about the conversation you've been avoiding—you'll practice it. You won't just describe your anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing—you'll get to know those aspects of yourself in a new way, so they can finally stop driving your life.

Experienced in more ways than one

I could tell you about my degree or my training, but what I think matters more is this: I know this on a cellular level.

  • Grew up risk-averse and terrified of making mistakes and letting people down? Check.

  • Found ways to numb the pain that eventually stopped working? Check.

  • Was capable and disciplined, but lost control in certain areas of my life? Check.

  • Wondered how other people knew how to do this "life thing" so effortlessly, as if there was some secret I wasn't in on? Check.

Today I can hold those experiences with compassion, even pride, because they no longer run my life. That's what I want for you.

I'm Hannah, a Licensed Professional Counselor trained in EMDR, psychodrama, experiential therapy, and parts work (IFS). We won't stay at the surface, because I believe you're capable of more than that. And if you're not sure you have the hope or courage for this work yet, you can borrow mine until you find yours.
