I have the best job.
There is nothing more meaningful to me than witnessing someone say what once felt unspeakable, do what once felt impossible, and move through emotions they feared would overwhelm them. My own experiences allow me to sit with you not only as a clinician, but as a fellow human who understands how vulnerable growth can be.
If you're tired of circling the same patterns — tired of understanding your problems without actually moving through them — you might be exactly who I work best with. My clients are people who are ready to stop just talking about change and start feeling their way into it. That takes courage. It also, occasionally, takes the ability to laugh at yourself — which I find tends to show up right when it's most needed.
My approach is experiential and active. That means we don't just analyze what's happening — we work with it directly, using methods like EMDR, parts work (IFS), psychodrama, body-based (somatic) awareness, and guided imagery to access what talk alone can't always reach. I won't just sit back and nod while you narrate your life. I'll be in the trench with you — curious, direct, and genuinely invested in what happens.
I work with adults navigating trauma, addiction and recovery, relationship patterns, and the kind of stuck that comes from being afraid to take the risks that would actually change things. I offer in-person therapy in Reno, Nevada, and virtual therapy in Tennessee.
If something here resonates, I'd love to hear from you.
We’ll be a good fit if…
You’re tired of weekly therapy that feels slow or surface‑level and are ready for deeper work.
You’re dealing with stuck patterns, lack of meaningful connection, or low self-worth.
You’re ready for help in feeling your emotions, not just talking about them.
You don’t mind a little bit of unconventionality and humor.
We may not be a good fit if…
You’re in an acute crisis, actively suicidal, or needing immediate stabilization or 24/7 safety support.
You’re mainly looking for short‑term symptom management, coping skills, or “quick fixes.”
My Background
-
I operate from a depth-oriented, trauma-trained, relational approach. In simple terms: how we think, feel, and behave is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s a lifetime of unique events, experiences, and beliefs operating under the surface, and the more we uncover, the more agency and freedom we find.

Guiding Principles
-
I won’t pretend to be someone I’m not in hopes that you have permission to do the same. Isn’t it refreshing when you can just be yourself?
-
It takes incredible courage to reach out and ask for help, and even more to take the required steps to grow and change. I have committed my life to this work and know the incredible gifts that await. If you think you lack courage, you can have some of mine.
-
Calling “up” reminds people of who they are and invites them up to their higher self, rather than condemning them or reprimanding them. It’s accountability without shame attached.
-
I understand that everyone starts at a different place along the healing journey and pacing is important. I meet you where you are — and then I walk with you, not ahead of you.
-
Let’s face it. This work isn’t a walk in the park. Therapy asks us to contend with some of the most difficult material in our lives. And while laughter being the “best” medicine might be debatable, it sure doesn’t hurt in this process.
